Today is National Margarita Day! Woot Woot!
There are few things I love more than making margaritas (especially batch margaritas in pitchers), going out for margaritas and Midnight Margaritas. Generally speaking, I love a good, authentic margarita of the non-frozen varietal that accompanies the conversation of great friends. How can you go wrong with any of these ingredients?
Today we were at work (much like you probably were…) and I felt so behind the ball on my blog posting to begin with, that when I saw on snapchat today was NMD, I felt like a complete failure. <-- Not over exaggerating here. Well... what cures the blues more than a margarita!? With little convincing and two failed attempts to leave the office, my co-ladies and I managed to get ourselves out for a little field trip. After trying five different restaurants off Melrose that did not have full bars - we landed at The Parlor where one bartender was not only making drinks but serving tables in the middle of Happy Hour AND the Syracuse / Duke game… I mean, what’s a girl gotta do to get a drink around Los Angeles? Fast forward 45 minutes and we hit our mark - despite the delays, I must say that it was well worth the wait and an excellent adventure!
Hope you guys enjoyed your day! I’ve already decided to cap the night with several friends in Manhattan Beach for Mexican and Happy Hour.
