First things first:
A) I cannot believe it's December
B) Hands in the air for those of us who obtained a head cold this week - welcome to the party! #thestruggleisreal
My brother and I have passes to Disneyland and since moving back to California, we spend 90% of our free time together at the park. Some days we are there for 6 hours, and others 10 (lol)... but get this, each time we visit we MIGHT go on 4 rides if we're lucky - we literally just walk around and talk. This week's visit was particularly special for me because Disney made it snow!! And the snow smells like gingerbread!! I love my brother so much, I am incredibly lucky to have him in my life and I treasure these memories. He also does crazy things for me like freeze to death while we wait for a 5 minute light show at Sleeping Beauty's castle :).
Over the weekend I will be scouting for a tree and since my holiday decorations are in storage, I decided to make my own ornaments. Maybe it's the effect of too many Hallmark movies, but I definitely pinterested the you-know-what out of these babies and I am pumped! While starting my first few last night, I could feel my grandmother with me, helping me recall the stitch work she taught me as a child. Hopefully my skills improve as I move along!
The way December unfolds this year, there are only a few active weeks left until our industry goes on hiatus. Before we know it, this month will have passed us by and I hope to squeeze out as much of the Holiday season as I can before the new year.
